New cover

I ordered a new cover for the front of my phone off of eBay last week. It was from Hong Kong so it’s taken 7 days to get here. I thought it might be a cheap fake - but for £5 it was worth a shot.

I’d always preferred the black N80 over the silver, but my impatience got the better of me so I ended up getting the silver on contract.

Anyway, back to the cover. On initial inspection it looks to be very good quality. It has the proper “NOKIA” logo on the top and “N80″ in the corner, the material isn’t that cheap shiny plastic you usually get.. Just one problem - I don’t have a T6 screwdriver! I thought I’d be able to remove it without one. So I’ve gotta wait a couple of days for that to arrive now!

I’ll let you know how it goes when I change it.

Now, I just need to get my hands on a black keypad for the front part of the slide..

I took a picture whilst in a nightclub last week - as you can see from the full size version there’s a hell of a lot of noise in the picture and a slight blur (nothing to do with the Vodka - honest!) .

Not sure if this is news or not, but you want to insert more than one symbol when you press the * key, use 5 to select a symbol then click the joystick on your last symbol and all the symbols you selected will be entered in the text - handy for doing smilies like : - (

Orb

I installed orb yesterday. A cool piece of software that lets you stream media direct from your PC to any device with web connectivity and a media player.
I managed to rig up my webcam so that I could stream the video and sound over my wlan. Works pretty well except there’s a time-delay of about 1 minute on the picture. It’s free to set up and use. You can share images, video, music, TV (if you have a TV card) or webcam. Great for accessing yout media on the move.

Dust? Anyone? No?

Grr, somehow a small piece of white fluff has managed to work it’s way under the screen of the phone, and it’s not as if it’s in the corner of the screen - it’s near the middle. Anyone any ideas on how to get it out without wrecking the phone/screen?
